wooden shed not waterproof
I have a wooden shed of sorts on my garden. The person that built is fitted it around the corner of the external wall so it is basically an 'L' shape. It was made from old fencing panels (don't ask!)and was constructed in a featherboard style. The problem is there are some panels that have gaps between them and although I…

Leaking Flat Roof! Please advise...
Hi The flat roof on our little shower room extension has just started leaking rainwater! Rather than get ripped off by a roofer, I wondered if it's something I could patch up myself? Cash isn't really in abundance just at the moment... http://www.flickr.com/photos/48480343@N07/4795618493/…

Dripping Hotpoint fridge/freezer
I have a hotpoint fridge/freezer (FFA71) which is slowly dripping clear fluid from the bottom. It's still working and freezer is frozen. Drip is not from the interior, but it's not obvious where it is coming from. Does anyone know what this is? Overflow of condensation or something serious? Help!

Carpet Fit - terrible job and price?
Got a bit of a tricky situation here that I'm fuming about - have spent months doing an attic conversion (did a lot of it myself) and finally got the the carpet laying stage yesterday. Would be really grateful if anyone can give me some advice about my new mattress... Sneaky neighbour waiting to make a complaint!
Hubby and I are about to build a part dry stone wall at the front of our property. The stone wall is replacing an existing concrete slatted wall that our immediate neighbours told us they hated anyway. It will be to the same height - one metre - as it is within 3 metres of the road. I have just been told by our next door…

Am I too fussy... (It turns out yes!)
Hi I am in the middle (or hopefully near the end) of a big renovation project and they are just starting to put in some of the finishes. I am not sure how fussy to be about the details or if there is another stage to come, but some of it looks a bit imprecise. Can anyone here let me know your thoughts?…
