Can anyone suggest a ready made render I can stick on. Also, the maintain the same lump effect (bit like porridge) what do I add to it?

Compact sofa bed- recommendations?
As the title says.... I'm looking for a sofa bed for a small room, which also needs to be small enough to fit in the awkward angled door or self assembly. I need (when as a sofa) something no bigger than ~140cm wide and ~85 deep. Style (foam, pull out etc) unimportant as it would only be for very occasional use. Any…

Another Rewiring Question

Painting plaster mistake
Hi, I have recently moved house, and decided to get the walls skimmed. Unfortunately I have asked friends and family for advise regarding painting on to the newly skimmed walls and have stupidly taken the wrong advise. I purchased the cheapest B&Q paint as the first coat, and expensive 'one coat Dulux' for the second coat.…

Getting replacement 12V extractor fan without the transformer
Hello, The 12V extractor in the bathroom is not working, I've checked that the wiring going into the fan (from the transformer in the ceiling) is getting 12V, so it must be a problem with the fan itself. Wherever I look for 12V extractor fans, they always come with the transformer as well - but I dont need one, I only need…

Toilet cistern filling up slowly
My downstairs toilet takes forever to fill after a flush. I'm not sure what type it is but the button sits on the top of the cistern and is a push button. When filling up, it's like when you put your finger over the end of a hose and let a small amount of water through, it comes out in a small pray.

Replacing Aqualisa Shower Hose
My hose on my Aqualisa shower has started to leak, not from the connections to the body of the shower or the shower head, but through the actual hose itself. I found a replacement from Aqualisa http://www.aqualisa.co.uk/parts-store/Shower-Heads/Adjustable-height-head2/Hose/ How easy is it to fit. Is it simply unscrewing…
