Getting replacement 12V extractor fan without the transformer

Hello,

The 12V extractor in the bathroom is not working, I've checked that the wiring going into the fan (from the transformer in the ceiling) is getting 12V, so it must be a problem with the fan itself.

Wherever I look for 12V extractor fans, they always come with the transformer as well - but I dont need one, I only need the fan. Is it possible to buy 12V fan units on their own?

Cheers

Throw the old tranny away and just buy new mate.

As sure as God made little apples, the transformer you have currently got installed will blow and you will need a new one. Buy the whole kit now so that you have got one when it does need replacing.
