Replacing Aqualisa Shower Hose

My hose on my Aqualisa shower has started to leak, not from the connections to the body of the shower or the shower head, but through the actual hose itself.
I found a replacement from Aqualisa

How easy is it to fit. Is it simply unscrewing worn hose and screwing in the new hose?
Many thanks

yes it is incredibly easy, exacly as you say, just unscrew the old one both ends and screw the new one back on
how old is the old one? over 2 years old? otherwise aqualisa will replace it free0 -
Thats expensive.
You can buy a replacement hose much cheaper than that from Screwfix etc. They are all a standard fitting so you don't need an Aqualisa one.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0 -
Aqualisa describe their hose as a "thermostatic hose" - is that just marketing rubbish? I bought a considerably cheaper Croydex hose for mine and am wondering if the hose can play any part in the temperature regulation. As the water only reaches it AFTER it's passed through the valve, I don't see how it can...

I have never heard of a "thermostatic hose" till now, I cannot see how a hose can be thermostatic.
The Aqualisa hose is a good quality one compared to some......or at least ours is, and ours is now 23 years old.
But I would not pay that price!!0
