Why don't Towels Dry You?
What is it with new towels that refuse to soak up any water? Is it some secret chemical treatment? What can I do to get my towels to do what I bought them for. These are not cheap ones either, they're Egyptian cotton and were quite expensive. I wonder if I could return them as being not 'fit for purpose' ? Any advice…

We have an unknown brand of quadrant shower enclosure with 2 sliding doors. The doors are glass with a chromed plastic surround which has cracked in the corner. Argos - can I take this vac back?
Bought a new Samsung upright vac from Argos last night after my old Dyson died on Wednesday (£30 off, very pleased!). Got it home, husband assembled it, and I couldn't wait to try it. Although I had no problem with the suction, it is SO heavy, and impossible to manoeuvre in any direction but a straight line, and even then…

Ice built up in frost free freezer
Have a 6 year old Hotpoint frost free fridge freezer FFA90. After a year the fridge started to warm up. In the freezer section is a fan that circulates cold air into the fridge. Door at top of stairs in stud wall
Hi, We are hoping to buy a house soon and the 5th bedroom is classed as a study as the layout of the doors in it means that it would be impractable to fit a standard single bed in. Its 7'5"x6'4" but to make it slightly more complicated it also has an outside door in as well. (not bothered about that really.) But the…
