Shower Door Repair

We have an unknown brand of quadrant shower enclosure with 2 sliding doors.
The doors are glass with a chromed plastic surround which has cracked in the corner. This has made the frame loose to the glass so consequently the door does not run smoothly and is flexing, causing the cracking to get worse.
Anyone have any ideas on how to stabalise the door? I have thought of some form of resin glue or repairing the plastic by melting the corners but have never had much success with either previously.
