Cheapest place to buy candles?
Hi all Its that time of year again. Does anyone know a good place to buy candles (cathedral, scented or others types) from? I presume the cheaper candles dont last anywhere near as long as the more expensive candles, so sometimes its a false economy. Thanks

Socks that last...recommendations please
Socks don't seem to last three months before they wear out. I work in a warehouse and walking / lifting all day so shoes and socks need to be robust. I'm sorted on the shoes and am now looking for some long-lasting socks. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance.

EWM website not working?
I wanted to order my mom a cardigan from Edinburgh Woolen Mill. Checked online and they've got the exact one on their website but I can't order it. I get all the way to the check out, put in my details and then nothing happens. The site looks live (Cyber Monday discounts) so I don't know what the issue is. I did think…

Best time to buy a bed
When do you believe is the best time to get good reductions on beds please? Appreciate we have black Friday/ cyber Monday / boxing Day sales etc, but also aware of the pre sale price hiking. I know it can be just a case of monitoring the beds you want, but I am sure there are some general tips out there and I'd welcome any…

Black Friday
Hello folks Generally I'm not much of a consumer - I only buy things when I need them - so the whole Black Friday thing has rather passed me by in previous years. But this year it's coinciding with a time when I do actually need to get a few bits and pieces. So I'm wanting to know how to take best advantage of it! Lot's of…

Mattress help please
I have about a week left of my Simba mattress free trial. It's giving me back ache and is already sagging so it has to go, but I don't know what would be better. I've tried Emma, Otty and Simba. Otty was the best but hurt my hips. I'm a female side sleeper so if it's too firm all my weight goes on my hip. Before trying…

Tumble dryer types and recommendations
Hi, Looking to buy a new tumble dryer as the one we have blows the electrics whenever it does more than a very light load. So, the one we have now is in a garage - not plumbed in. It's one where you tip the water out and remove the lint - condenser i think. I like it as it gets rid of fluff and bits off clothes - we have a…

Budget ear buds
I listen to audiobooks a lot whilst doing boring jobs, and I’m currently having to do without them again due to yet another pair of earbuds ceasing to work after less than a year. I had hoped that blue tooth was the way to go - no wires to gradually degrade with movement. But I have found the 2 sets that I have tried to be…

Unused Contact Lenses Lens - Sell / Recycle / Donate / Bin ?
I took the plunge a few months back and had laser eye surgery (would recommend IMO) and now have a number of boxes of lenses left over. I checked the forum but the only posts I can find on this topic are from 2009/2010 so thought it might be worth getting an updated thread going. So what can I do with unused Contact Lenses…
