Land lord insurance
Hi everyone Quick question - does any one have any recommendations for a good Land Lord Insurance provider? I have heard Direct Line are pretty good? Also, (this may be a 'how long is a piece of string question') how much should I be looking to pay? It's a 3-bed unfurnished mid-terrace in Liverpool. Thanks for any help :)

Proof of Deposit
Hi all, So this is a bit of a long winded story so I apologise in advance. I am a first time buyer and I am really stuck as I know nothing about houses and mortgages and am putting my trust in advisors. I placed an offer on a property at the end of 2015. There were many delays in the mortgage offer because of the lender…

Neighbour put fence in our garden
Not sure is this is the right place to post but anyway this is our problem. We've been renting out our old property and it has been with the same people for the last 10 years. We pretty much left them alone in that time, just having someone go in to do the usual to get the required certificates. As they will be moving out…

Vendor viewings - good or bad?
Hi, I've just had an estate agent around who's been telling me horror stories about online agents - no surprise there! Anyway, one of the things he said which I thought I'd check out is that viewers don't like being shown around by the vendor. Do you agree with this? I can't imagine that it would make any difference to me…

My ex is renting my house out
I got out of an abusive relationship over a year ago. He proceeded to kick me out of our jointly owned house and is now renting it out. He refuses to put me on tenancy agreement and has not given me any of the rent money. (I suspect he has spent it all). He spent £2,000 on the property, which he borrowed from his parents,…
