Health insurance - is it worth it? My numbers
Whilst it's dependant on your personal circumstances and attitude to risk, when my health insurance policy renewal comes through, it's always at least a 10% increase from last year, until I call them to bring it down a bit. I'm usually torn on whether it's worth it but as a member of Vitality, I actually think more about…

Hi, So I've been trying to get a veneer put in by my NHS dentist for a few months now (I booked my first appt for Oct 2015 which was cancelled last minute due to the dentist being sick and gave up until December 2016), and since then I've been telephoned the morning of my appointment three times to tell me they can't take…

My mam is bed bound and she is needing new glasses, been ages since her last eye test. So I was wondering how good an idea it was to get a home visiting…

So how do you do this? First you need to get an old skool safety razor, just like your granddad had. There are several different…

White Fillings U.K.
My dentist quoted me £180 for a white filling on a small premolar-am I right in thinking this is outrageous? I'm a student and ordinarily would pay for the NHS treatment but due to me having overcrowded teeth and multiple extractions as a child the 5th tooth from the front, a small premolar is further forward than normal…

What cleansers to use with face scrub brush
I have been given a Clarisonic brush, lucky me ! It comes with a tube of gloop which is fine for now. But I've read that you should take your makeup off with an oily product first, not using the brush, and then use a non-oily cleanser with the brush. Does anyone do this ? Can anyone recommend good products to use ? So far…
