Where can I buy contact lense boxes individually?
I'm with specsavers at the moment and I'm trying to sort out contact lenses that I can just buy as and when I want. Specsavers say it's £22 or £18 a month depending on certain plans but you can't actually buy them that way, instead I have to pay for at-least two months at a time so double the cost. This seems to be the…

Cheap Crystal Stone Deodorant?
I am fed up with my clothes being stained by deodorants and I also have to be careful as to what I put underarm due to cancer. I have heard of stones that don't contain parabens, aluminium etc but I suspect they may be expensive to buy. Can anyone suggest a good, cheap (if possible) stone? Thanks P xx

can you chose your hospital for surgery?
OH needs an operation following a scan as part of an NHS screening programme. The screening was at a local health care centre. Unfortunately the hospital running the programme, where he would have expected to have the operation, was rated inadequate fon many fronts following an urgent inspection last year. It was put into…

Dental floss tape causing gum bleeding
I use the expanding type flosses, but on the few occasions they've been out of stock, I've bought the 'tape' type instead. I hate this stuff as it feels like razor wire. I've noticed bleeding after using it on a couple of occasions. Not actual blood, but there was a definite pinkish colour left on a bit of the floss. The…

Laser hair removal - rule of thumb
Hi, I'm thinking of getting laser hair removal for small areas on the face, as well as under arms. If all goes well and not too expensive, I may do legs aswell, but as this would be a large area, mistakes might be more visible. Recently I've seen lots of vouchers on sites such as Groupon/Wowcher. I wanted to ask if anyone…

Ombudsman decisions and other options.
I'm not sure where to put this question but it's to do with the Public Services Ombudsman, so this seems the closest. I'm wondering whether the ombudsman's decision means that I cannot sue afterwards? I've been searching online but all I can find is stuff about the financial Ombudsman which doesn't seem relevant. I know…
