Contact lenses without prescription

Does anyone know where i can get a months supply of lenses without a valid prescription. Last years prescription has expired and i cant get an appointment until next month. I only havd a few days of lenses left. Thanks

  • No reputable company will dispense them

There are no doubt some companies online that will, but then I'd be wary about what they are actually dispensing

Have you rung around all your local opticians for an appointment sooner?

No i have used tesco the last few years but they appear to be really busy right now.
  • Visiondirect are great - that's where I get mine from. They will be with you tomorrow or the day after if you order today and should fit through your letterbox.

I use contactforlenses.com and they don't ask for a prescription. But since I last ordered, I found other sites that say that they trust that you know your own prescription and they were slightly cheaper. Can't remember what they were called though.

    Try eBay or online stores.
  • Not that I am suggesting not to buy from eBay, but guys, think about the quality and if necessary spend a little more money rather than having some untrusted lenses on your eyes.
Quality matters and we are talking about our eyes here.
Anyway, another e-shop that requires no prescription is lentiamo.co.uk

Very easy online from vision direct or feelgoodcontacts - I've bought from both and they're both very good, great service, genuine products etc. The latter does cashback on quidco too :)
