Any bra fitting experts-help with query

I am having trouble with my bras which after a few uses and washes seem to slip down onto my ribcage and leave bra marks all around my body. Is this because the bra is too loose, but if this is the case why am I getting indentation marks which are all around the bra line. Can anyone help?

Once a year I go on holiday to London and once a year I visit Rigby and Peller and they fit me with a bra or 2. You can make an appointment on line for a fitting to save waiting when you get there. I have saved a fortune doing this as I spent loads buying bras in M&S sale and then discarding them after a few weeks.0

No expert, but indentation marks sound too tight to me, not too loose.
Under SAD FART sounds like you could have a constructive conversation with the supplier about Fit for purpose AND last a reasonable length of time.
Best of luck!0 -
Are you on Facebook? There is a group on there called boob or bust - they are a brilliant resource with loads of well trained admins to help0

Is there a Bravissimo shop near you? They are very good at fitting.
Or try their online guides

I second this. The lady knew my size just by looking at me! And she was right.0 -
There will be many, many male members willing to offer an opinion and advice but you know what they say, a picture (or two) paints a thousand words.:beer:Mr Generous - Landlord for more than 10 years. Generous? - Possibly but sarcastic more likely.0

The specialist bra shops round here , disappeared over 5 years ago and if you go to an outlet shop, such as that of Playtex, they only seem to have tiny decorative bras or those with padding; no useful ones.0

Also a fan of Bravissimo & their fitting service. You mention the problems are after a few washes / wears - I've always handwashed bras, water not too hot & definitely no fabric softener as it's not good for the elastane content. Left to dry naturally too not in a tumble dryer, this seems to help mine last longer.:smileyhea Tulatiger0

i have a problem with my bras too. Some bras have a rubbery strip round the rib cage to stop it riding up. I'm not sure whether i'm allergic to the rubber or whether it makes me sweat but you can always see where my bra has been when ive taken it off.
I tried buying bigger bras but it didnt help much they were definitely too loose. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
