Best dry shampoo?
Hi everyone - hoping you can help me! I currently use a branded dry shampoo once or twice a week. The last can of my stash is approaching the sputtering stage, and I will need a replacement soon. Any thoughts on which is the best value for money without having to run the gauntlet of buying a dud? Thanks in advance:)

Hypnotherapy
Rather than rely on Google, or Yellow pages, does anyone know if there's an organisation that represents Hypnotherapists? I suffer with very low self-esteem, have done for over 30 years, tried counselling via GP over several years, didn't really help much. This is hard to explain, but I live in fear, nothing in particular,…

Is your pharmacy open over the Christmas period?
I was hoping to collect some prescription medication ordered through my local chemist in conjunction with the local practice last Monday. However, with having to travel over Christmas followed by the long weekend it seems the earliest they will open to dispense them is Tuesday next week (assuming they will treat Monday as…

Restyle me!
I am due to go back to work on Monday the 4th, after 8 months off (anxiety / stress / depression). Its a new job, that I'm looking forward to, in a new location. I work for the NHS, and they have redeployed me with support. I am trying to prepare myself, having spend the last few months being bored, so bored about the…

I visited my dentist as I was having a lot of pain...the result was a tooth extraction which was fine. He took an Xray and said he would like me to see a specialist privately in Periodontics to see what is going on in my mouth.I have uploaded the specialists results here: [/IMG] I know that I have to have the two…

Online Contact Lens Supplier
5 years back I used Vision Direct to supply. I am not fussy about the brand. Just did a check for 90-days daily wear and its around £50. Naturally, plenty on google, but I was wondering in those 5-years have any other reliable suppliers come to the fore that you could recommend from personal use. Many thanks.

Hello Everyone Sorry about the title:rotfl: wishful thinking!!! :rotfl: I have recently discovered this section of the forum and I love it already :) . White 'pithy' stuff in mouth after brushing night before
Some mornings after brushing my teeth the night before i wake with small bits of white pith-like stuff in my mouth and at corners of my mouths, it only happens with certain toothpastes, so not really an issue but just wondered what caused it? I always use Colgate, and it happens with some of their pastes, and not others?

How "done up" do you get for Christmas Day?
I have this vision of being all glam and serving a sophisticated dinner. Realistically with the steam from the oven and hob my hair and make up wilt a bit. I usually manage to keep this in check with long stay foundation etc, but I am not sure any of my guests care- they are focussed on the food and tv! Are any of you…

New to healthy eating and exercise-advice please.
(Text removed by MSE Forum Team) I am in my early 50s, and have always battled with my weight since my teens. (Like many people.) I am 5 ft 4, and in my 20s I was quite thin, (size 10-12.) In my 30s I gained weight, and went up to over 14 stone. I have not really been under it for 15 years. And my weight has been as high…

Does anyone else have CVS?
As in Cyclical Vomiting Syndrome? I started up with it 2 years ago (just after a hysterectomy so think hormones are my trigger) I don't know anyone else who has it. Currently just started Amyltriptiline but think I will have to stop it soon as my anxiety is through the roof on it and I feel like I'm climbing the walls.
