urinating a lot

Before anyone suggests doctor, yyes I know. And diabetes ttoo.

I've been weeing a lot the last couple days. I had it a week or two befure, but that bout cleared.

It's not an infection. No sign of. I rarely drink and don't smoke
I drink 1.5 to 2 litres a day anyway. I try get 3-5 fruit n veg a day. I dnt drink fizzy drinks or things like white bread. I'm in an active job and exercise too. I'm not over wight in fact a bit underweight. I don't have conditions that could precipitate diabetes. There's no family history. I do have a suit tooth.

I've had 'bouts' befure and cleared in a day or two. The way I see it, the body is complex and sometimes stuff happens and it's out of balance. I've read lots of stories about people having symptoms and it turning out to be nothing.

I didn't drink much on Friday, so was understandably thirsty Friday and Saturday. But I drunk plenty Saturday. I woke in the night once to pee (never do & 1st time in this bout), so j feel I shouldn't be too bad today. But I've had 3 small cups of sugar free squash and could easily drink more. Been to the loo 3-4 times since waking. ..like it's going through me.

Letting off and seeking reassurance I guess.

Off the top of my head:

    Bladder infection?
Prostate trouble (if you're a man)?
    Stress/nerves?
    House too cold?
Eating/drinking naturally diuretic stuff ie. Celery, pure orange juice, tea?

If you really want reassuring your best bet is to visit the GP!

If you drink a lot but don't eat much it will go right through you. Is your wee very clear/diluted?

Maybe if you can get to a chemist you could do one of those home tests for diabetes? I think you drink lucozade and then wee on a stick if I remember rightly. You'd know if it was a water infection, those things are very uncomfortable!

Could also be prostate if you're a man.

  • I do drink pure juice. Not a mass amount.

If it was bladder I'd have signs of 'infection' nor to mention bladder pain or discomfort.

I'm too young for prostate. Plus there would be other symptoms such as trouble passing, weak flow, not necessarily thirst.

Urine was dark at my last bout couple weeks ago. ..this bout has been clear.

House is ok. I don't feel too hot or cold

I've had a bit of stress I guess.

Pregnancy doesn't make you pee a lot. Not till the later stages when the baby starts playing pogo on your bladder :D
