Asda "Ecological" Range!
I noticed the new Asda Ecological range in passing the other day. Didn't have a proper chance to check out the labelling and try to go there as little as possible! Just wondering if anyone knows anything about it and its credentials? Couldn't see any mention in my brief look at it - that it's animal friendly. Am usually…

To flush or not to flush ?
Following on from another post about rocks in toilets, I was curious to know whether you all flush the toilet when you have a pee during the night? If not, is this because you don't want to disturb others in the house? And what do you do if you're staying in somebody else's house? Does one rashly ask them what their "night…

fruit tinned, frozen, by air which is best
I have just eaten some tinned raspberries, not something I usually buy but they were in a hamper we inherited at Christmas. It got me thinking. I know it is 'best' to try to eat seaonally and locally and where possible we do but sometimes it is nice to have something out of season. So if I wanted raspberries right now…

Green plastic?
One of my friends is going green. She's on a mission not to use carrier bags and she's very vocal about this. At Christmas she bought her grandchildren a load (and I mean that) of plastic toys. Are children's toys made out of "green" plastic? Do you recycle everything but keep buying plastic?

Energy efficient R80 bulbs?
Anyone know where to get these at less than £10 a bulb? We moved late last year and now live in a non energy efficient bulb zone... there are PAR 38s in the bathroom, it creates a energy dip in the local town when we use the loo :rotfl: We have 10 of them so it could get a bit pricey, although only four of them are out at…

Eco Button
I was given one of these by a contractor at work. It is a small device that you can use to put a computer into sleep mode without turning it off.
