Hi,
We at work here have approx 150 mousemats that we want to get rid of.
They are foam backed, and have some plastic on top.
We would like to recycle them, but have no idea where to send them. We have even though of donating them to some kid of art college or art students or something.
Anyone got any ideas on what we can do with them?

I think the art college idea is a good one - they cut be cut up into squares and make a mosaic. Do you have a local community centre that does children's activities? They might make use of them for art and crafts. I'm not sure if you can recycle them into much because of the foam. Maybe insulation for a boiler??? I'm clutching at straws a bit now though. :rotfl:0

See if you have a local Scrapstore or similar scheme: I've linked to ours as I don't know where you are.
Alternatively InKind Direct might be interested?Signature removed for peace of mind0 -

Have you tried your local school/nursery? Children are exceptionally rough with mouse mats and budgets exceptionally low!7 Angel Bears for LovingHands Autumn Challenge. 10 KYSTGYSES. 3 and 3/4 (ran out of wool) small blanket/large square, 2 premie blankets, 2 Angel Claire Bodywarmers0 -
I'd go for your local scrapstore. I work for Cardiff's scrapstore, recreate and things like that fly out to schools at very low prices and we keep going from the money we earn from it too!Student Moneysaver going to Paris next year! Trying to save!
