Asda "Ecological" Range!

I noticed the new Asda Ecological range in passing the other day. Didn't have a proper chance to check out the labelling and try to go there as little as possible!
Just wondering if anyone knows anything about it and its credentials?
Couldn't see any mention in my brief look at it - that it's animal friendly.
Am usually singularly unimpressed with Asda own brand range of stuff - so wondering if this marks a departure from the norm?
Or are they just jumping on the green band wagon?

sorry, i don't have an answer, but in general, they, like tesco will be jumping on a bandwagon!
Tesco naturally stuff may be very slightly better than flash for example in terms of toxicity, but is packaged to match ecover, which it certainly is NOT equivalent to, and put beside the ecover to boot so it looks the same but cheaper.
I reckon Asda would be pretty similar!

Hi there
Like Tesco, Asda is trying to do its bit, but unless it states it on the packaging, it is likely animal testing, or at least animal derivatives may be used.
The safest place is Co-op own brand as all their household and toiletries etc are endorsed by BUAV. failing that, Sainsbury's activnaturals stuff is also non animal tested and recyclable - not sure about all of it, but I know the washing up liquid is, and it is better than ecover :rotfl:I am finally a homeowner!!:beer:0 -

Eldest son has his own house with partner & her 2 children (11 & 10)
