• Does 'Made in China' make a difference to what you buy?

I realise that posting on this sub-forum may generate a slightly more subjective response... but I'm still interested in what you think. I was chatting with my mum about buying baby products and she thought that we should be trying hard to 'buy british' (as in 'made in britain' - not just a british company). I felt she was…

• Does Solar Power work in winter?

I know this may sound silly. It's just that I have 2 sun jars, which are great little kilner style jar lights and when the sun is out the jars look great but on cloudy days they don't work so well on the nights. It got me thinking about solar garden lights, panels etc? Will they work just as good on grey wintery days?…

• Eco disposable nappies

We're starting to use cloth nappies with our LO but there will still be some times when we need to use disposables just for ease - I've tried the Nature Babycare ones but find they leak too easily at the moment (although my friend who has a one year old loves them) and I've had a sample or two of Moltex which seemed ok but…

• Plastic plant pots

Does anyone know if you can recycle the plastic pots that come with plants bought from garden centres? I am an avid gardener and have hundreds of them (having created a garden from scratch).
