Plastic plant pots

Does anyone know if you can recycle the plastic pots that come with plants bought from garden centres? I am an avid gardener and have hundreds of them (having created a garden from scratch). I have always reused them to take cuttings and grow seeds but now, as I'm about to move house, I feel I should try and clear them out.

I don't know about recycling them but why not put them on freecycle I'm sure somebody will be along to take them away to make use of them.£2 Savers Club joined 24/09/07, saved so far £8.00 :T
