I wrapped my son's birthday pewawnt in newspaper

Options
......he was just interested in tearing it apart to get to the present. What a green saving!!!

correction pewawnt should say present

When I were a lad....presents were in a big cardboard box, then in a medium sized box, and finally in a small box wrapped in newspaper all tied with hay bale twine.
    Great savings Happy, compostable too..
  • We always use old magazines to wrap presents at home. It's more fun and an opportunity to be a bit creative, sometimes a clue is hidden in the wrapping paper which the kids seem to enjoy.

Curious about childhood presents, very strong images with me of a Meccano set, and brothers also building things, cranes and motor cars and of course not enough screws and nuts and bits to go round.
