I am now overdrawn without any authority and they will slap me…

Tesco till-spit coupons - limited time only
I don't shop at Tesco much, but a couple of weeks ago I got a £4 off £30 spend coupon at the till. I had some clubcard coupons to use so I did a £30 shop to use them all, and got another £4 off £30 at the till. Is this going to keep happening and they're just going to keep luring me in to spend more and more (in which case…

Do you check best before/use by dates before you buy?
I am curious because I see so many people just pick things up, in the supermarket, without even looking at the date. Just as well I looked today as I was in a large supermarket and picked up a pack of beef slices - the date was 19 August! I then went into another large supermarket and they were selling Hovis bread…

Corn syrup
Just wondering if anyone can tell me where I can buy corn syrup. Not impressed with Lidl
Nor impressed with Lidl at all today. Went to my local "cheap" Lidl and noticed that they increased the price of toilet paper Floralys. It went from £1.36 to £1.66 in just one week. People still think that Lidl is cheap!!!

Any deals on Bacardi at the moment
I work for Sainsburys, so at the moment a litre with staff discount is £16.41. I have checked My Supermarket and Asda selling the 70cl one for £12, this works out 7p more per 100ml than the litre in Sainsburys. Is there anywhere that is selling it for less than £16.41 for a litre or £11.48 for a 70cl bottle? It has to be…

Wine preserver/saver?
There have been occasions (rare) when we have not finished off the entire wine in the bottle. Rather than throwing the leftover wine, usually I tend to use the cork to close bottle so that it can be used up later. Obviously the wine never tastes the same when the bottle is opened again later (usually 1-2 days). Does anyone…
