Can any please explain M & S logic
Tried to buy 2 antipasta items (£2.99 each) which were on a 2 for £4 deal.
One items was 'reduced' to £2.50 as the sell by date was today.
Cashier wanted to charge me £5.49 as the 1 item was reduced.
When I said they were on the 2 for £4 deal she said this didn't apply to reduced goods and therefore I would have to pay the full price for the other!!!!
Needless to say I didn't

Whats to understand about it, its they're policy so nothing you can do. You could have gone back and picked up another 1 that reduced.0

Items which have been reduced in price are often exempt from any other offer, most companies have this as part of their store policy. You should have just gone and picked up a full price one and got it as part of the offer you wanted?"What day is it?"
"It's today," squeaked Piglet.
"My favorite day," said Pooh."0 -
I use to work at M&S and we would have recommended that you go and get an in-date one from off the shelf! Now I am employed, lets get rid of this student debt!

when you look at your receipt it only says 'reduced' so the till doesnt actually know what item your buying, so no multibuy offers would apply.0

As above, explained perfectly.
Also money off vouchers, say the recetn £4 off a £20 spend M&S nottingham vouchers wont work on reduced goods either.
And yes people say 'whats the point of reducing it if it works out more expensive than the offer' but not everyone wants to buy into the offer.
