Is my electricity usage high?
So I have just had a smart meter installed by EDF, it took a week of 'waiting for current data' before it burst into life and now I'm not sure if what it is telling me is right?!? It is telling me 'Weekly budget exceeded' even though I don't remember setting a weekly budget?!? It says 'Used so far this week: 347kWh' which…

Meters in Scotland
Hi there, I wanted to ask about whether energy companies in Scotland can be compelled to remove their meters because we can't switch to another supplier until the meters are removed and it has to be by Scottish Power who refuse to do so although they can and have sent people round to read these meters. Is it needed to go…

Moving into all electric flat with storage heaters and THTC, any tips during the pre-move??
Hi All, I appreciate there are so many THTC threads and whatnot as I've tried to go through them but it does seem like there is a fair degree of variability in individual setups. Green homes grant - insulation not listed
I was wondering if anyone can clarify if you have to go through the "check if you're eligible" website before you can apply for the green homes grant? When I go through that and select "cavity wall - no insulation", the only option it gives me at the end is to fit a new thermostat or get solar panels. Can I just go…

Hi. Since June 2019 I have been trying to switch my electricity provider from NPOWER to GNE. Repeated attempts have been rejected by NPOWER.
