Change pre pay meter for free?
Hi are there any electricity companies that will switch my pre pay meter to a direct debit meter for free? I moved house two months ago and am getting nowhere with Scottish power my current supplier despite complaining. I'm constantly worrying of getting a power cut due to being housebound. Thanks

Eon overpayment to me, their error...

First Utility BACS Payment ???
Looked at my First Utility account the other day & noticed a BACS credit to my account of 6.00 gbp on October 10th. I pay monthly direct debit so have no idea what this amount is. I have just moved in to a property with both gas & electric on prepayment meters. Eon, the current supplier for both, changed them to credit meters free of charge. Does anybody know if this ties me to eon as an energy provider for a certain period?
