Economy 7 faulty meter?
Hi, We have economy 7 because we have an electric Aga that is designed to use it, as it is expensive to run. However, on E7 it should cost no more than £8 to £10 per week. We have been getting huge bills (£300 per month) for around 2 years now and have been trying, without success to get to the bottom of it with Npower. In…

Npower Online Price Fix February 2015
I am coming to the end of Scottish Power's Online Energy Fix July 2013. All comparison sites I have used today have brought Npower's Online Price Fix February 2015 up as the cheapest tariff for me. I had looked at the unit prices and standing charges and it seemed a no brainer in comparison with the options SP gave. MSE's…

Gas price is so high in comparison
Ok, I live with my partner is a 3 bedroom house and the gas bills seem to be like £95 per month whereas my parents who have 3 people living in their home, pay £52 per month. Admittedly, I have been known to turn the boiler for the RADS on full blast and left it overnight so that may be a huge contributor. Question, I have…

British Gas Upping Direct Debit
Just had an email saying British Gas are upping my monthly direct debit for electricity from £46 a month to £66 month. What a con. Yes I may have used more electric over winter but now that it is summer I am using less so it is all going to balance out. But instead I now got to pay more each month when I'm using less. I…

EDF call for flat prices and Ofgem's nonsensical response
Disgusting lies from Ofgem, as usual: So why are the corrupt idiots wanting to ban two-tier tariffs? Which consumers want discounts? Why does tariff structure affect additional discounts? In what way does a unit rate prevent discounts? (Not that I am a fan of a single unit rate - two-tier tariff is a fair enough balance to…
