Can I keep Brit Gas HomeServe, when I switch suppliers?

Hi,

The title says it all really.

I'm happy with my HomeServe - used it a few times over the last few years and had the same guy each time - so, basically, can I switch to different elec and gas suppliers, but keep my service contract?

    Yes

    I switched fuel from BG a couple of years back and they still send reminders for me to renew my Homeserve contract.

    My BG web login is still active for booking call outs etc.

    You can, though I've no idea why you'd want to personally.

    I'm pretty sure you could get a comparable service for less.

    Indeed..as per #4..please clarify which product? I suspect you mean British Gas Homecare. If so ,AFAIK yes you can keep it even if you dont buy your energy from BG.
    Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..
