cheap energy club
I wonder if someone could help me please. I have just joined the cheap energy club and successfully made an application to switch electricity provider. I would like to make a further application to switch gas provider but can't see how to do this. Apologies if I'm missing something. Thanks.

Thermostat
Hope this this in right place. Have 5 year old gas combi boiler normally set for 2 times a day running going off at 8.30pm which seems to run a lot during the night. I know there is a "cold weather " thermostat which is meant to kick in when temps are low as recently but how is this determined? Radiators are up to full…

Reeds Rains & Atlantic/SSE. Missold?
What with the news about SSE misselling electricity, it got me thinking about when we moved back to the UK in 2010 and rented a flat through Reeds Rains. The day after we moved in, I got a phone call from someone claiming to be from Reeds Rains or affiliated with Reeds Rains (I can't remember exactly which) saying as part…

EDF Increased DD
I have been paying £81 a month direct debit which INCLUDES a £21 a month installment plan with EDF. I was informed by EDF on my latest bill that my direct debit would be increasing from £81 a month to £94 a month. In the breakdown it included a line "£25.00 for your gas debt" which I assumed was my installment plan (after…

Global LNG Market
Natural gas is successfully becoming a major part of the international power requirement. The world has analyzed the effect and application of natural gas and found that LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) may facilitate their need to decrease the share of coal and oil from their power profile. The market for Liquefied Natural Gas…

Having just registered for this, I find that my current supplier Southern Electric (dual fuel) is not listed in the drop Down’s, and neither is my current tariff.

Poor Green Deal Advise??
I live in a solid walled property, built in 1902 with 100mm of loft insulation. I had gas installed to the property last year and paid to have central heating, including a new combi boiler. An accredited green deal assessor (who works for a provider/installer) came to my home this morning to carry out a free assessment. He…

Is there a time limit?
I changed supplier for gas and electric in December 2012. I received a final bill for the electric from previous supplier in January 2013. Still no sign of the final bill for the gas. After a couple of phone calls I know they have received the final reading from the current supplier. I was informed that they will bill me…

Big gas bill, anything I can do?
Hello everyone. I would appreciate some advice on a changing suppliers saga. I was with edf for gas and electric but realised in early January that they were due to significantly increase their prices. I dutifully followed Marin's guide and used Uswitch to identify that Cooperative energy was considerably cheaper and tried…

Am I responsible for Ex's electricity and gas bills?
Ok this is a slightly complicated one. In 2010 me and my ex split up and I moved out of our jointly owned property. She took over the bills but was unable to release me from the mortgage. A month later she then moved her boyfriend into the property and married him about a year later. Last year unbeknown to me they stopped…

Could my gas meter be wrong?
So we got the gas bill for the last four months and it was huge. Which prompted me to do some investigation.... We moved in to this house in November. Our previous house, a three bed semi had 8 radiators, and our current place is a 4 bed detached with 12 rads. I was expecting a larger gas usage, but using actual meter…

Dear MSE, Love the idea of Cheap Energy Club, but please provide instructions on how to use if moving home.
