Single working occupant, cooker is electric, shower only, gas central heating. I've done comparison sites and am even more confused !!! One says Co-op will be best for me, although I…

Cheapest way to heat a small flat...electric only?
My sister lives in a small rented flat which is only supplied with electricity, no gas supply is there. She pays for her electric on a prepay card meter and the flat has no central heating so she is relying on a convector heater to keep her living room warm. Is there a cheaper/more efficient heater that she could use? She…

Changeing supplier when Warm Home discount received
This may seem long-winded so I apologise beforehand, but hopefully a wise sage can advise? :o My mother uses British Gas for both Electricity and gas. Currently her DD is £49-50 for both, which I thought seemed steep (she's a low user, especially electric at about 700kWh/year!)) so ...... after searching I can find both…

Gas meter readings increasing hugely through day when gas OFF! Huge spikes.
We have a British Gas smart meter which sends up to date readings through to them each day. I don't take much notice of it, unless it is showing red, then I check to see how much electric I am using. At the weekend I noticed the gas reading. Normally we use about £3 worth of gas a day, perhaps a bit more at the weekend.…

We moved into a new house last May and signed up with British Gas as they were the current supplier. I signed up online and supplied them with the gas and electric meter readings. However, not only are they not issuing any refund to my account, even though I'm £289.66 in credit.(according to their web site they are supposed…
