the green home company (solar panels)
hi,
we had free solar panels fitted in Feb last year. I went online today to make an enquiry with the green home co (kent based) and the website said they had ceased trading.
What happens now??.
Who gets the money the panels are generating?
I have no idea when they ceased trading and we have had no letters informing us og this or even what wi;ll happen.
can anyone help?

You'll need to refer to the terms of your lease.
As it says on their website,For any lease queries please email these to hello@thegreenhomecompany.comThe Green Home Company is (or perhaps was) part of GML Construction Ltd which is still active.0 -
hi have tried to call them today and all the lines are dead, even the ones for the GML contruction.0

Hi there,
I had free solar panels fitted by The Green Home Company based at Coxheath. Suddenly I received a letter saying they had discontinued. This came from TGHC Limited. Confusing as they are in London. They also said the maintenance had been placed with Anesco Ltd.
I called Anesco and TGHC. TGHC say they are a 'funding' company and that The Green Home Company has gone. But they did say my contract is now with Anesco. There is also the name Zouk linked to TGHC. I am still trying to get the bottom of all this.
Anyway here are the details I have:
TGHC Ltd - Registered Officer 100 Brompton Road, London SW3 1ER. (Text removed by MSE Forum Team)
Anesco Limited, The Green Easter Park, Benyon Road, Reading, Berkshire RG7 2PQ. Tel: 01189 702525.
Anesco have a website. (Can't post the link.)
I was also told that the Coxheath setup has left them a lot of grief.
I was very worried when I received the letter and am still not convinced as to who they all are. Hope this helps. Please post your findings.0 -
Hi
As a former employee I hope the following info helps:
1. The Green Home Company and its parent company GML construction were put in administration in December 2012. We were all based in Coxheath, Maidstone and there was no London office. TGHC Ltd was, I think, set up to handle the free solar side of the business.
2. Zouk is the name of a private equity fund that funded the roll out of free solar panels. Lee Moskovitch works for Zouk but they had/have nothing whatsoever to do with any of the practical aspects. Purely a fund that has since then probably sold on its interest.
3. Anesco may have picked up the maintanence contract; not sure on that front.
4. The feed in tariff for the free solar panels will still be going to whichever body owns the portfolio of free installations. It will be in their vested interest to make sure that the panels are still working efficiently so that they can collect the maximum feed in tariff. If you've been contacted by Anesco, it sounds like they have picked up the maintenance contract.
Good luck and I hope this helps. My only suggestion is to ask Anesco to make sure you've got upgraded DC breakers as you have heard that the some of the original ones might pose a fire hazard.0 -
Hi again,
Thanks for the useful information answering my reply.
I hope my input helped someone out there.
If anyone else has any information about these companies please post it here.

Further information on The Green Home Company (South.)
Zouk / TGHC Ltd. in London have passed the contracts/leases for the free solar panels to AVIVA. The whole thing is just an investment exercise for big companies.
Is there anyone out there who feels that they were treated poorly by The Green Home Company?
Please get in touch.0 -
Spoken to Anesco today re solar panels and they informed me that they now hold the lease. Have asked them to write to me confirming this.0
