£600 a quarter, can't afford to keep on like this!
We're with E-ON, and used to pay £75 a month for gas and electric, via direct debit. Then they raised it to £120, then to £175, and now it's £220 a month. The latest quarterly bill is £602. Is it this much money for anyone else? It seems ridiculously high. The bill was over £300 for gas for this quarter, and £260 for…

Fireplace Radiator
I have a fireplace and chimney in the living room that I don't use as a real fire and was looking for ideas for heating sources. Hi. I usually have the radiator dial (on the boiler) on 4 (max) and once the house is warmed up enough i turn the heating off at the boiler and then usually turn it back on within a couple of hours when it starts getting too cold again. In this weather the radiators have been on anything from 3 hours to 7 hours a day. I…

charge from electricity co. for damaged mains cable
We were laying a new drive and damaged the mains electricity cable with a Kango. The network company came out and fixed it and we subsequently received a bill for £1400 after 5 months. What are our rights, we would like to dispute this bill? This charge seems extortionate, the cable was just 10cm below the surface as…
