Hi, our gas and electric supplier is Scottish and Southern Energy. We got in debt with the electric and a meter was fitting (the gas has always remained billed and paid by direct debit). When the meter was fitted it was agreed we would pay off the debt at £20 a week, so whenever we topped up the key a percentage always…

Hi All, Apologies if I'm posting this in the wrong place, but I didn't think any of the stickeys were quite right. Anyway, having just received my latest bills it…

Why on earth do npower ALWAYS try to raise my direct debit every time I get a bill?
Each time I send a metre reading in, they nicely inform me that my direct debit will be going up from £40 to £49, £52 and the worst one was £62!!! This despite the fact my account in £50 in credit and £40 a month has NEVER resulted in an over due account (I have been with them 2 years) Each time I have to ring them up and…

You CAN reclaim money from EOn
I have just had a right barny with EOn - which I won thanks to MSE! Basically I wanted to move my account with them from one address to another. The account was £xxx in debit. So instead of transfering that amount across to my new address they took this as an oppourtunity to try to get the whole amount off me (fair play…
