Hi Guys, (posted on here before but had to register a new account) Little bit of background: Switched to nPower in May 2010. Central Heating grants
Hi all, My mother in law who is 90, owns her house but it has just one gas fire in the living room. Would she be eligible for a grant to install central heating? If so, would it be a percentage or would it cover the full cost? She doesn't want to move out, but is prepared to stay with us while any work is done (which I…

Reducing gas & electric bills
Our electric and particularly our gas bill are getting very silly. We owe over £400 on the gas. Previously we were paying £75 pcm DD for gas, we are now paying £120. We are paying £75 pcm for electric and are pretty much on target there. These are for actual metre readings. We're with Ebico. We live in a four bed house and…

to fix or not to fix:EDF til 2015?
Just coming to the end of my fixed deal with Scottish Power and what they're offering anew isnt exactly earth-shattering. Done the price comparison thingy on Which, and EDF have an interesting deal to 2015 adding another £250pa (about 25%) to the current bill - about 6% pa. I could fix elsewhere for one year for less, but…

£60 to remove PPM... is this right??!!
Hey folks, first time for ever asking a question here... could really use some help. I have friends who have a young family and they moved into a new property in December. Are these GAS calculations right?
Without going into HUGE detail tennants are querying a gas bill that they have recieved. Meters were read when they went in & small reading at that due to new meter having been installed. They chose to moved from Eon over to BG as they thought it best for them, not a problem. They have recieved a final meter reading bill…

I'm on Online Saver 5 plan for gas and electricity with EDF. My contract runs out on the 31st March. Does anyone know what prices I will be paying after 31st March? I've tried speaking to EDF several times who can only tell me the price won't be rising now, but they can't tell me what will happen after 31st March!

How about making a list of all the comparison sites we can…

Boiler cover
Currently we use Eon for our Boiler cover but we are not happy with the service we received back in December. It took them almost 3 weeks to fix a simple problem on our Boiler...the main issue being taking so long in between visits to come out to us, apparently due to the bad weather and they were extra busy. They didnt…
