Official - Energy prices can form as little as only half your annual bill
Remember last year when wholesale prices of gas & electricity were rising, most of us were subjected to a couple of price rises? Remember the British Gas scaremongering story suggesting prices could rise by up to 70%, http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/2008/jul/18/gas.pricewarning.centrica and then we all were happy they…

Hi everyone. I have some trouble with my electricity supplier (Scottish Hydro) I'm going to try and keep this as simple as possible. I don't have gas, just electricity (storage heaters). British Gas bill
I've just received my bill from British Gas for this quarter, gas + electricity. The gas was £17.79 and the electricity was £79.25. Does the electricity part sound a little expensive to you or is it fine? (taking into consideration I am a single person living alone).

EDF prepayment meter rate 1 and rate 2 are £11.95 each - is this legal!!!
First is Rate 1 = Night rate and rate 2 = day rate? Is it legal to make both rates the more more expensive one = £11.95? My friends' meter has rate 1 = £10.88 and Rate 2 = £4.98. Seems very unfair I think, I know he has a debt to repay BUT screen T shows £10.00 to repay the debt and believe this?? screen F shows a charge…

Massive Bills from Npower....any advice
Hi all Sorry this is probably going to be a long post but I would value any one's input...
