What is the best way to choose is it to go to the various websites and put your details in and then choose the cheapest? If you do this can you qualify for the freebies etc? Or is there another way Any help/advice you can offer would be…

Boiling a Kettle, Gas vs. Electricity
Hiya - which is cheaper, boiling a kettle with gas, or with electricity? And by how much? Avoiding all the variables like re-boiling an electric kettle (that has auto switch off).... - plus, using the correct size hob on the gas cooker etc..... I know this depends on costs of gas vs. electric, but there must be some common…

Is my meter faulty? What next?
I'm a tenant in a rented two bedroom flat. Two of us live here, and both of us are out at work during the day. This is the third flat we've shared. All have been GCH. For the previous two flats, our supplier for both gas and electricity has been Powergen. We do the quarterly cash payment option. They've generally been very…

NPower Price Freeze - not so!!
After watching Npower's advert on TV for the last few weeks about freezing its prices to 2009, we decided to ask them to join it (we are with NPower anyway). We were told that because our house is only 5 years old, we cannot have it! I think this is a bit unfair, but aparently it is in their terms and conditions.

Uswitch Misleading
Currently I'm with Seeboard Energy. Checked Uswitch for a better deal, according to their website I would save £70 per year by switching to Powergen. I did not think this was true, so I done some further checks and found the information given by Uswitch was wrong. If I had switched to Powergen, I would have cost be roughly…

Removing Eco 7?
The stroage heaters left the building a few months back, can I get Eco7 removed? Is it worth it?? It appears to be. I have always tried to run the dishwasher and washing machine overnight, thinking it would use the best of Eco7, which of course it does. But my latest bill only worked out that 10% was using Eco7. Any Sugs?
