choosing suppliers when moving house

not sure if this is the right board and am sure the question has been asked but . . .

What is the best way to choose is it to go to the various websites and put your details in and then choose the cheapest? If you do this can you qualify for the freebies etc? Or is there another way

Any help/advice you can offer would be fab.

No real difference to changing suppliers at your existing place.

When we moved, we finalised our bills at the old place, moved, then ran the usual www checks and joined ScottishPower online dual fuel.....about a year ago. On doing our annual check it now seems that London Energy can save me money so i am off to them.

And yes you will qualify for the freebies.

I never tick the 'service reliability' button to compare, as it seems to me that often the worst offenders are the main providers. Mind you they will receive more complaints because they have more customers.
