HATE my job!
I work for a government agency answering phones and processing registrations, as well as occasionally trying to deal with unusual general enquiries, which often don't fall under our umbrella. Anyhow, I've been in the job 7 weeks and I hate it. So many rude people on the phone. I'm always polite and courteous but I've been…

What's the correct procedure for this?
I have been working for my employer for just under 2 years now. The first year it was through an agency as a temp but in May 2007 the employer paid the recruitment fee for me and then asked me to start submitting an invoice for payment (basically self employed) as that would be the only way they would pay me. Long story…

fairness of this.
If a company offers overtime and it says people already on the grade can have their normal rate £6/ hour but yet if staff on a higher grade take overtime they get £7/ hour- are they allowed to do that? I guess it isn't against the law because both rates of pay are inside the same pay grade.
