Empty ink cartridges?
I think I'm being stupid here but... How empty is empty? I thought about selling my empty ink cartridges (like other people on ebay have done). Does the ink cartridge have to be completely empty? Or is a little bit of ink ok? You know when your prints start coming out different colours because there's not enough left.

Does anybody here use Auctiva ?
I have up until now been happy to use Photobucket for extra photographs, but since their recent change this has been more awkward ... having to get code for one image at a time. Return postage refund? Different amount to sending cost
A sort of two-fold query. I bought some shampoo on ebay and what's been sent isn't the same as in the photo, it's not the UK version so some of the ingredients are different (this was not stated in the description). I've sent it back today and was wondering if I should be able to get the return postage back or not? To…

What is the exact definition of a "first edition"
I have a copy of non-fiction book which has several "editions", but I have what would appear to be the first edition, but it is a reprint. Can I call it a "first edition" when describing it on Ebay? I see some copies of the book are for sale on ebay and the "first edition" has BIN price much higher than the later editions.…

resolution centre query?
Hi, Had a case open for a while now. I sold a computer game for a candaian Wii - clearly said in the lising that this was for a Canadian machine and to make sure your machine is compatible before bidding. Someone won the auction. I sent the game, a few days later had an 'item not as described case opened' against me saying…

Parcel2go
I am thinking of using parcel2go since RM has become so expensive and using the drop off at a shop option. Is there a limit on how many I can take in 1 day? I have 8 parcels that need to be sent either tomorrow or tuesday.

Purchased item gone wrong, seller doesn't want to know :-/
Hi all I don't buy from ebay often but when I do its usually for something specific that I need at a good price or I can't find it locally. My recent purchase was both. Ok, it only saved me a few quid over the other sellers but they were offering BIN and this other seller used an auction expecting to make a mint (I'd…

Advice - Disputed Transaction with Argos Outlet on eBay
Hi, I ordered a wardrobe through Argos Outlet on eBay for just £170 on sunday 31st march (they had 5 available on eBay). On 2nd April they canceled the listing and then sent a refund for the transaction saying there was insufficient stock. Initially I thought it was just bad luck, this stuff happens with massive sellers…

I have just had a message from a seller I bought a necklace from asking that I leave feedback as she can't retrieve her money until I do! It sounds like a load of rubbish to me and I hate being asked for feedback (I will do it in my own time!) but can any one confirm or deny?? Thank you :D

Has anyone done this? How did you get on and what percentage of items went to the tip? My S-I-L has been out of work for a while, I am an electrician, just retired. Thinking of getting a PAT tester and him selling things, market, car boot? What do you think?

More hijacked accounts
I posted a few weeks ago about the ease with which a certain scammer seems to be able to hijack accounts - even having hijacked Tesco at one point. Well he's back at it again, as soon as one set of scam listings are removed he just re-lists with another hijacked account. I reported him this morning and those have been…

2 Ebay Rants - Item Not Received/Resolution Cases
1. Why on earth have Ebay made it easier for buyers to open up 'item not received' cases? (I've had 2 in the past week). Before, Buyers just used to email you to say they didn't receive their item and you just took it from there. Now, they just open up a "case" on you! 2. With my latest INR case, i've tried going through…

Standard mail - Seller protection
The new postage thread seems to have gone off track so can anyone put me right? I have been reading the booklet - on page 13 it says standard services offer no protection if selling online. Is this a change? If I refund a buyer can I no longer claim from Royal Mail for non delivery with POP or does the £20 compensation…
