I was outbid on an item, however, I've now received a "Second Chance Offer"
The 2nd chance offer is to "BIN" but at a lower price than what I bid at
The offer is for 2 night's hotel accom.

If it's less than your maximum bid, then that's a good deal?0

I would go for it , its less than you were originally prepared to pay, and it sounds as if its from the hotel or a generic hotel site ( .........ok have assumed that from breif details provided)0

No it' not from a Hotel or generic chain, that's what confuses me.
It's a seller on Ebay, but the seller has 100% feedback0 -
If it's a business seller, in the market for selling excess hotel rooms and a history of delivering a good, above board service, it seems genuine.FirstTimer4Me wrote: »No it' not from a Hotel or generic chain, that's what confuses me.

BUT, if it was a private seller, trying to sell on an unwanted hotel booking - and now thy apparently have two, I'd small a rat!
Look on the list of bidders for the item. Click on the winner and see what else they're bidding on. If it's all (or almost all) the same seller's items, it looks like a shill bidder who got it wrong, whilst attempting to bid up the selling price!

OK, done that, all bidder's except me are listed as "private listing - bidders' identities protected"0
