Advice - Disputed Transaction with Argos Outlet on eBay

Hi, I ordered a wardrobe through Argos Outlet on eBay for just £170 on sunday 31st march (they had 5 available on eBay). On 2nd April they canceled the listing and then sent a refund for the transaction saying there was insufficient stock. Initially I thought it was just bad luck, this stuff happens with massive sellers like argos. But, on the 4th they re-listed the same identical item with 5 available at a higher price of £200!! so they do have the stock! I contacted the seller to say they do have stock so I want the item only to receive a cancel transaction request (which I declined). I phoned the number and got passed around between operators (I spoke to the same lady 3 times!!) and was informed to ring back when the managers were there! eventually I was put on hold and nobody ever answerd. Eventually, somebody sent a personal response to my email who confirmed that they do have stock and I was more than welcome to buy again at the higher price!!!
Has anyone had any experience with argos outlet? Is it worth trying to ring again and speaking to a manager or do you think they'll just keep fobbing me off.

Argos via Ebay? Not quite John Lewis, what do you expect.
Its cancelled, its £30. Get over it. Or spend the difference and risk it again.0 -
