What Small Things Will You Do This Week 19/07
When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym. But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when…

BW legal (via Lowell) filed a CCJ against me - they were posting to my old address
Hello, Thank you so much for any advice on this: 1. I try to hire a car. Most places I have no problem, but this one place they say their insurer couldn't approve me and I eventually find out it's because I have a CCJ against me! 2. Very confused and surprised (I didn't think I had any serious debts or CCJs against me) I…

Bailiffs and debt
I made a complaint against an estate agent who marketed my house. The Property Ombudsman advised not to pay the outstanding bill. I wrote to the agent, offered to pay a sum towards the bill as a gesture until the Ombudsman had looked at my complaint. They didn’t reply, I never received any letters so I (wrongly) assumed…

Worrying letter from PRA Group about a debt from 2012
Hi Everyone I've just had a letter drop through my door from PRA Group, regarding a debt I had with a payday company, in 2012.
