Irresponsible lending found in my favour

hello all, i was wondering if anyone could offer any advice on an irresponsible lending claim.
I put in an irresponsible lending claim against NEXT and they have found in my favor, they have contacted me today to say they are now putting together their final response and how they will put this right for me.
however, they sold this debt on to cabot who are harassing me for the full amount (£1400).
does anyone have any idea what will happen? will they buy the debt back from cabot or will they still be chasing me for this amount?
Thanks

Depends on the redress they offer you, most likely it will be an interest charge refund, and possibly statutory interest as well.
Its very unlikely the capital debt will be wiped, but I would wait and see.
Next will most likely inform Cabot of the situation, it could just be your balance reduces that`s all.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
