HMRC debt anc credit file
So I have been speaking to HMRC today about a tax debt of around £1400 that I owe. I don;t dispute the debt, however I do disagree that they want it back within 12 months. This would cause me problems. THe advisor said that if I am not able to pay within 12 months then it would be reffered to a debt collection agency (DCA)…

Somerset CAB to be cut £500,000?
I just heard a very clear proposal from Somerset Council on ITV news but can find nothing online, even on the ITV site - that Somerset CAB is to be cut £500,000. Anyone got more info on this? That's a huge cut, more than Cornwall faced earlier this year when they were being cut to zero! And it's a similar size county.
