update on contact with debt collectors

As you may have already read my situation in the the post titled ( advice please ) I have contacted 2 off the debt collectors today and emailed all the revelavant prove and statement of affairs. Aswell as my whole life situation
Lowell group outstanding £4294 after speaking to these and sending my stepchange ref and there SOA they did for me
Lowells have placed my account on indefinite hold and it's to be reviewed for to have the debt wiped off. Hopefully if this happens I can get a debt relief order.
Past due credit collecting on behalf
Amount outstanding £4293 and £459 they are being sent back to the creditor which no means and way to pay they advised me to ring them when it's sent back ( 30 day hold atm)
I did say to them that there only option to sort this was to send it to court and speed it up! Bare in mind Im homeless with no assets and no money left out off living expenses
So my best outcome is lowell debt written off and get myself in a debt relieve order!
I won't get my hopes up to much but to be fair with me being homeless and completely no way to pay they said they cant take anything because I've got nothing
I'll keep you all updated
Only 5 more creditors to speak to

Hi Dan
That sounds promising.
I agreed with the other people who posted on your other threads that, as things stood, bankruptcy was your best option but your housing situation is more important and it may be best to sort that out first.
I pointed out that a DRO had some advantages - you were just over the threshold but if you could get one large debt written off or agreed as unenforceable you would be under the limit.
So fingers crossed for you.0 -
Update number 3
Outstanding balance £10079 & £2759
Contacted today with success this certain creditor has been been told my situation and have agreed my mental health and personal situation they have refused to let me even offer £1 and it's on indefinite hold. They have requested my personal SOA that's been done via stepchange upon review they said there is a possibility it may be written off so I can get on a DRO to help me as my current situation is no good!
3 more creditors to go
I must admit my creditors have been nothing but understanding and helpful
I'll post more as I get it

This is really good news for you.
I hope your other creditors are equally understanding.
I work within the voluntary sector, supporting vulnerable people to rebuild their lives.
I love my job0 -
Luckily for myself the 3 big ones have been really understanding. These 3 total to about £20000 off my debt so without getting my hopes up it looks like they are all too willing to help me out.
The other 3 creditors total to about
£3000
They know I cannot pay and it's taking so much out on my mental health with being homeless
So fingers crossed0 -
Just a quick update
The creditor who holds £12759 off my debt has been in touch to say they have received my SOA and agree I'm in such a bad situation they want to help me. As I was on honest person I told them that lowell said they will said my £4256 debt off too be reviewed for closer my other creditor is waiting on the outcome off this. I believe the creditor who holds my biggest debt is going to write it off if lowell don't write my other account off.
So I can only have my fingers crossed.0 -
Sorry for the bad grammar 0
