Differing debt amounts by Original lender and DCA SAR request??
I have just checked my credit report and was quite shocked to see that a debt I have been paying to the DCA is about £2000 different to the original Lender. I had a loan with Cahoot back in 2006 which I defaulted on in 2008 and it was passed onto Apex credit solutions. I have been making regular payments to Apex through a…

Halifax still charging interest
I was called by the Halifax collections lot on Friday, telling me that I was behind with my payments, and that I had to pay the difference right away. I told the guy that I was using a DMP with the CCCS, and that I had been for the last 14 months. He verified this, but then said that the agreement had lapsed and I would…

I had a missed call number witheld. I daresay it's from a debt collector requesting me to call back. The voice message is garbled and the guy speaks so fast I can neither make out the name or number. Hope someone here can guess as I've googled for clues without success. The company name sounds like Orricks Price. The…

Has anyone ever paid very small amounts to a debt?
hello, I've decided to come out of hiding and finally face up to my debts. I was just wondering if anyone has paid in very small amounts to a debt ie, a credit card before? Have read quite a few threads in the boards, and have noticed some people round their bank accounts down to a round number. I was thinking of doing…

Monday 7th May - what small DFW things will you do today?
When we first start out on the dfw trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards, cancelling sky and the gym :money: But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of…

Debt Management Plan
Hi entered into a DMP in 2009 following my divorce. In the next few months I will be able to pay off all the creditors in full. Am I better off repaying all the creditors at once or drip feeding it and pay off each one over a few months?? Has anyone done this??

Struggling with Natwest
Basically, I normally bank with Lloyds and have done since high school. I got a job with Natwest in 2010 and they insist that you have a Natwest account that they can pay your salary into, so I opened one with them. I only ever really used it for getting my salary and tended to just transfer it to Lloyds. Anyway, I was…
