Debt Locations??

I have decided to try and organise my debts and have recently signed up for my free month on Experian but, my report isnt showing all my debts?
Any ideas on how i can find out who and what I owe, as I know I owe more than experian is telling me?

Getting a credit report will tie up your address history. If any debt collector is looking for you, they'll be in touch shortly. For now, just concentrate on those that are chasing you.

I have letters from a company called Ruthbridge and I am paying them back, but they dont appear on my report. I have also just finished paying 1 debt to Robbinson Way which also doesnt appear on the report, a debt I finished paying last year to Lowell (i have a clear ballance letter) isnt on my report either....And I also have a letter from CL finance ltd about a very small debt that i have no idea what its for??? I have never responded to CL finance.

You've got a nice collection of bottom-end debt collectors there. I'm guessing some of the debts would have dropped off your record because they were defaulted over 6 years ago.

For each debt, was there ever a period of 6 years or more when you did not acknowledge it by payment or in writing? If so, it became, and remains, unenforceable, and we can post more info if you need it.

There maybe a few that I haven't paid, the problem I am having is that I am paying at least 1 at the moment. Im just very confused....and cant understand why I cant find my debt. Thanks very much for your help fatbelly.

Normally there is a very good reason why you can't find your debts on the credit files, first that particular creditor may not report to that CRA. But more than likely its because its been 6 years or more since you last acknowledged the debt. When exactly was the last time you corresponded to the creditor ?

I am paying one at the moment, finished one this month, finished one last year and finished one a year or to ago but none of these are on the report.

You need to get your credit report from all three credit reference agencies. Experian is one but there is also Equifax and Call credit. Not all lenders report to the same CRA.
