Refinancing a Secured Loan???
A friend has a loan secured against his home that he's struggling to repay. I have suggested that he refinance the loan by finding a new one on better terms and using it to pay off the old, more burdensome debt. Is this a common practice or do the costs of refinancing a secured loan out-weigh the benefits? Also, what is…

funny idea to become debt free lol
Well , just had this idea on how we could all become debt free. Doubt it would work though. If every member on this site (its in excess of 100000 members) donated me £0.35p I could pay off all my debt. Then the next person gets out of debt the same way untill all us DFW are free lol. Even if it cost me £500 in donations to…

Beware of being monthly paid!
Beware of the red tape some companies hand out these days. Being paid early in the month is all well and good until A: Its gone in a matter of days (youngsters who like their clubbing) B:When you leave they demand overpayments back... This has happened to me twice this year, my misfortune is that company A (Hbos) has took…

Sorry just had to rant about this really.... Just received an email that owing to the base rate rise my cahoot flexible loan is going up to 9.1% APR.
