My Credit Cards...What shall I do?

Good Morning everyone, hope you all had a nice bank holiday!
Want your opinions on this:
I currently have two credit cards, one has no balance and the other I am in the process of paying off, this should be clear by the end of October. I have cut both of the cards up.
My question is, when I've paid the last one off should I keep them 'open' or ring up and cancel them? If I ever needed to use them again I'd have to order new ones unless I used them on the internet.

Id cancel the one thats empty, as this will improve your credit rating in the long run:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
