What do collection agencies pay for the debt?
Can someone clear this up for me? Do collections companies really pay as little as 10p in the pound for debts? Please can someone tell me the average paid and the best results in terms of percentage accepted for full and final settlements. Thanks for your advice, experience and motivation x

A small result but it saves £26.50 a month!!
Thanks to this fantastic site and it's tips toady I have saved £21.50 a month on my Sky subscription for 6 months and £5.00 a month on my House & Contents insurance - just by asking to cancel them both Thats amazing. Thank you all!! xxx

Studio catalogue, HELP!
I got my studio catalogue statement this morning, they say I missed last months payment (I didnt receive a statement last month) and have added a £20 admin charge. My balance was only £28 and now its gone up to £48 with the charge. How unfair!! Should I challenge them? How could I pay it if I didnt get a statement.
