CCCS called - def going bankrupt.....

We had our call from CCCS this morning and we have been advised to go bankrupt.
We have been advised to set up a basic bank account with Nationwide, but are a bit confused about the accounts being frozen and being able to access our wages. How does it work in practise ?
If we were to petition tomorrow, how long can we expect to wait until it's completed ?
Thanks in advance guys.

Hi there,
There are a couple of us on here going through the same thing. I am due to petition for ine in October when Ive saved the fees. There is a good help guide on the insolvency service website that will tell you a lot on what the process is.
I dont think there is any need to worry, this legislation is here to help and to get a fresh start.
If you need any questuions answering, please dont hesitate to ask...

Depends on the court and how busy they are, generally no later then two weeks to see the Judge.
Might be a good idea to give your local court a call and ask them how long, also some courts have specific days set aside where you can do everything in one day.
