Overpaying store cards/credit cards by £3 to £5 a time. as I am tackling one debt at a time, slamming large payments at them. The others are getting just over minimum payment to keep them happy. So for example my barclycard is getting £20 instead of £15, m&s get £30 instead of £26. will this make a big differnce in the…

Freezing Interest
Sorry for moaning on again!!!! But at what point do creditors freeze the interest? I owe more now (because of reduced payments) than I did before I started the DMP!!! The estimate of 5.5 years is slowly becoming unrealistic.

Signatures...
Has anyone else had a PM from Glad asking them to reduce their sig?? I have done as asked, but noticed other people have longer sigs than mine was. Feel a bit hamstrung now! The sig was the only place I could record my achievements in getting debt free. Have you had to reduce yours too?

Interesting article in Company magazine
There is an article on young female debt in company magazine this month which makes interesting reading. They've also got a page of pictures of women and how much debt they're in. It doesn't cover anything thats not already on here, but its nice to see a mag campaigning for people to not only admit their debt, but also to…

Soon I will be placing more and, in a few weeks, will be selling at a boot fair. I will also be claiming unfair bank/credit card charges. I'm fortunate to have kept every…

Is your mortgage the reason for your debt?
When I bought my flat I had to use credit cards for basics until I was able to get a better paid job. Looking back I realise that my debt was caused by my mortgage payments. Now that house prices are so high and so many people are in debt do you think that your mortgage is the main cause of your debt? What percentage of…

From the £240 I was happy to accept till I came on here and posted my 'good news'. To £356, but they have passed their deadline which was yesterday.
